Chair of Energy Economics and Junior Professorship for Energy Market Design
The Chair of Energy Economics and Junior Professorship of Energy Market Design investigates a broad range of energy markets, carriers, and infrastructures, including their decarbonization, digitalization, and decentralization. We also explore related questions of sector coupling, regulation, and market design, as well as the role of energy in the macroeconomy. We closely collaborate with the Institute of Energy Economics (EWI), the Faculty’s Key Research Initiative on Sustainable Smart Energy & Mobility (SSEM), and the Faculty’s Excellence Cluster ECONtribute.
