H2-Markets Research Stays – Collaborative Research and International Experience in Cologne

As part of the H2-Markets initiative, we offer research stays in Cologne for Master’s and PhD students from our international partner universities. These stays typically last one to two months and provide a valuable opportunity to work closely with research teams at the University of Cologne and  the Institute of Energy Economics (EWI).

Participants engage in ongoing research projects related to hydrogen technologies, energy markets, and sustainability. They contribute to academic discussions, gain insights into the German research landscape, and deepen their expertise in a focused, collaborative environment.

The research stays are designed to strengthen academic exchange, support young researchers in developing their theses or dissertations, and foster lasting international cooperation within the hydrogen field.
